Formic Pro StripsĀ are used for the treatment of varroa mites.
This 10 dose (20 strips) packĀ is perfect for hobbyist beekeepers with 1-25 hives!
These new improved strips are a Formic Acid polysaccharide gel strip that have a longer shelf life (2 years) than the previous MAQS (Mite Away Quick Strips).
When placed in the heart of the honey bee hive, it kills the Varroa mite where it reproduces, under the brood cap.
Formic Acid is organically certified and eliminates residue risk, allowing beekeepers to use it safely during the honey flow.

Class C Pesticides may only be sold to individuals who possessĀ one of the following:
- Certified and Registered Apiarist / Beekeeper
- Certified Farmer
- Exterminator
- Pesticide Vendor
A valid copy of at least one of these licenses will be required at purchase to acquire any Class C Pesticide treatment.
